    7 UTTIPEC processing 'Proposed Northern Access Road to IGI Airport for improved connectivity - by AAI/DIAL' was presented by consultant DIAL in the Governing Body meeting held on 19.2.10 explaining that there are 5 approach/access roads apart from the metro link to the airport.  This proposal for the Northern Access Road through the Defence/Airport Land from Dwarka circle (roundabout) was discussed in the WG-I-A meeting which  recommended phase-I of the proposal and is as under:
       
    1.   Signalized intersection on Dwarka circle (roundabout) with safe and smooth crossing facilities for pedestrians/NMTs;
    2.         R/W of the proposed road is to 45 m. wide.
    3.     A tunnel to be constructed within the airport area under the flight path, as per the proposed plan.
      The Governing Body approved the Ph-I proposal, and is to be completed before September 2010 prior to Commonwealth Games.               

    The proposal of “signalization of Dwarka Circle (NSG Roundel) and other interfacing issues Northern Access Road was discussed in the Governing Body meeting held on 29.10.10 with the following decisions:   'As recommended by the Working Group II B, Governing Body approved the proposal'
